Signs that we've won
Kofi Anan is taking credit for the UN for sucess in Iraq.
This is right up there with Ted Kennedy taking credit for defeating the Soviet Union during Reagan's funeral.

Posted by: Fausta at February 12, 2005 03:05 PMWell, if the Oil-for-Food program wasn't corrupted enabling Saddam to stay in power, he might have been the victim of a coup, which could have lead to a different, more democratic government sooner. Thus it would be highly unlikely that there would have been a vote on January 30, 2005.
Gee, ya think Kofi should hire me as a p.r. flack?
