Felgercarb Watch

You think I'm cranky about the newly re-envisioned bastardized version of Battlestar Galactica? Just ask Starbuck what he thinks! Sounds more like the legendary Commander Cain than anything else, but in between bouts of frothing, Benedict makes some pretty good points. I like this guy.

Sounds like a has been lamenting the good old days, and darn those evil modern people and their remakes...

...which didn't stop him from doing a segment with the new Starbuck on the DVD of the miniseries.

Guess $$$ talks and BS walks.

Did it involve cigars?

The article was written a while back, so I guess Dirk, along with Richard Hatch, has been assimilated.

Say what you will, Dan, about Benedict selling out, his initial assessment was correct. This new version is absolutely horrendous. If you lack the capacity to see this, so much the worse for you. Actually, I suppose it is better for you, as those of us with taste find it hard to live in this world of zombies who applaud Madonna's latest makeover and stand in line to see Charlie's Angels at the multiplex.

Wow Eric, that's some insulting asshattery towards someone that may have a different opinion than you.

Personally, I think the new miniseries is pretty good (though I despised the last episode), but I wouldn't watch Charlie's Angels unless compelled by threat of death, and also wouldn't fuck Madonna with your schwanz and the llamas pushing.

I must be the infinitessimal mathematical anomaly that bedevils your otherwise immutable equation of GOOD TASTE.

It's the Matrix.

I can't decide which is more amusing: your assumption of some sort of cultural/intellectual superiority to me, or the you're basing that assumption on the fact that you prefer the orginal Battlestar Galactica.

You're getting all smug and tossing around personal attacks over a 1970s TV show? Seriously? Get a life.

First of all, who can blame dirk for selling out.... I mean, what's he had lately that gives him a good pay day.

second Dirk's point was good. Galactica Classic and Galactaca nuevo represent two different social periods.

But, for once, i mean wouldn't it be nice to go back. Because really all this need to be real, thats not why i watch television. I watch television to go to a not real place
