Age and Wisdom

I came across this test at Barking Moonbat Central Command via John Nada at Try On The Glasses.

The test says that "anyone over 40" should have an easy time with it. I'd say, the age cut off is a bit higher than that. I'll be 40 in two weeks. I only scored 13 out of 20, and half my right answers were based on things my parents told me.

So, you?

UPDATE: Oops. Sorry, John. Link fixed.

I got 18/20! Not bad for an OF and it DID bring back some memories.

19/20 and I'm just a swaddling babe. Okay, I'm 35, but I haven't had the chance to use the phrase 'swaddling babe' in awhile.

I thought it was a tad beyond the 40 set myself.
And my first car had a headlight dimmer on the floor.
(A big huge woody station wagon, try parallel parking that when you're 16) smile.

BTW: Happy Birthday! I'm 40 this month as well...

I got 16 right and I'm 37. I waffled on the Kennedy pony answer and got it wrong otherwise I would have had 17 correct.

17 correct and only 35 years old, tho I am a proud young fogey.

Not to be snarky but I missed 3-# 1, 13, and 15. I think I must just be good at taking multiple choice exams or just a lucky guesser or something...and maybe I've heard a lot of this stuff through lore from my grandparents and old songs I guess? I totally thought I got the Pony question right although I also really had no clue on #19 because the answers didn't lead you to the right one...ah well...

I'm 43 and I *knew* 14 (I'm not counting any guesses here) -- I really think their cutoff should have been closer to my dad's age, personally...
