Ouch.
I haven't said anything about the running fight between the guys over at Powerline and St. Nick Coleman of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, although I've been reading the ongoing reaction to it 'round the 'sphere. (Needless to say, we Llamas are firmly on the side of the Powerline guys.)
At this point, however, I feel I have to weigh in: Nick, baybee, that is a shotgun in their pocket and no, they are not happy to see you. Give it up.

It has really become a blood feud; this won't be reolved until one of them is, metaphorically, dead -- fired by their employer.
I think Coleman has gone way over the line on it and I think the Powerline folks have called him on it. Coleman should be smart enough to drop it -- if the blogs are powerful enough to bring down a national figure like Rather, then the Northern Alliance alone is probably powerful enough to bring him down. At any rate -- it is a bad gamble for him to publicly attack these guys.
