Usable Llama Parental Expressions

Anybody who has to deal with small children will be familiar with their habit, when asked to locate something, of immediately going slack and yelling, "But DAAAAAD! I can't find it!" or the equivalent.

I've come up with a nifty comeback that I often employ on the Llama-ettes and pass on to you in the spirit of comraderie:

"Well try using your eyes instead of your mouth."

Share and enjoy.

That could come in handy. Of course, I could sometimes use it on my husband too. :)

Funny how that works out ;)

Rob, great expression. I'm sure I'll have a chance to use it soon.

Jordana, my wife frequently addresses my sons and me collectively as "boys." E.g., "Boys, get in here and clean up the living room now."

PS - Rob, when are you going to reply to my mild taunting about Xmas lights?

Well, I guess that's better than my mama's Up my ass, hanging on a nail...

Bwahahahaha!

Can't wait to use it. Four hours until the alarm goes off in the morning for the dreaded school preparation routine...it's a sure bet we'll be hearing that one around the house.

I hope you enjoy the swamp down here in Mobile!

At my house it goes, "We look with our eyes, not with our mouths." And does, in fact, get used on the children and the other parental unit. :)
