Llama Road Trip
By the way, I'm heading down to Mobile, Alabama on Wednesday on business. I love Gulf Coast seafood. If anybody can recommend a good place to eat there, I'd appreciate it.

Posted by: jt emery at December 6, 2004 03:33 PMWintzell's, on Dauphin Street in downtown, and the Original Oyster House, on the causeway (Hwy. 90/98) in the middle of Mobile Bay, should be your first two options. There's also a Wintzell's, just as good, on Airport Blvd. across from Providence Hospital. For a nicer place, go to Felix's Fish Camp on the causeway or Roussos' downtown. Cock of the Walk isn't bad, but it's mostly fried stuff, so I think most Mobilians would say that the other places I've mentioned are more authentic Mobile seafood restaurants.
