The third law of office hallway dynamics

Shiela has some interesting musings on everyday social phenomena, but I'm completely at a loss as to the whole "poo stall" thing.

But then again I'm a known transgressor of the social norms and customs at my workplace, as the macktabulous Chai-Rista could attest.

I do wonder if it's a female thing. Did you read the post I linked to? The stall she describes as the designated stall is the same stall that has been designated (without a vote) in every office I've worked in.

And "the buffer stall" is also a universal, in my experience.

Yeah, I think that's a female thing, at least it's not anything I've ever noticed among guys. But then again, I am exceptionally dense in so many ways....

In my building we only have the single-occupant unisex ports of call, and since they are all open to the public, the "poo stall" is all of them at some time or other. Sometimes you have to raid the janitor's closet to arm yourself before you go in there . . . Neutra-Air - best invention EVER!
