How long do you have to live in a place to be considered an "indigenous people?" Since Eurpoeans and their decendants have been here for over 500 years, aren't they now indigenous? Why would they be less indigenous than the nomads who came here from Asia? Or am I just not sufficiently sensitive to understand it all?

In the photo at the top of the page they have linkled to one can clearly see a couple of Palestinian flags. What does that have to do with Columbus?
