Storm Troopers Got Your Tongue?

Sorry to cut out on you today, folks. Father Justice's system crashed hard around lunch time, leaving us cut off from the rest of the world.

I'm assuming that this little incident didn't have anything to do with our pal Freakin' Jen's training today.......

Freakin' Jen posted an excerpt from an article on the passing of Colonel (ret.)David Hackworth, USA. I have a mixed view of Hackworth. Unquestionably, he was a gifted soldier and one of two Vietnam-era colonels that went on to make a tremendous impact on the Army in their post-war writings (the other was Harry G. Summers). Hackworth's books on leadership are widely read among soldiers to this day. Unfortunately, Hackworth's railings against Army leadership in his regular Newsweek column too often sounded like sour grapes. His worst move was going after Clinton's first Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Boorda, for wearing two battle stars on a Vietnam service ribbon for which Boorda did not orders in his personnel file. Boorda killed himself hours before a scheduled interview with Hackworth. A susequent audit of Hackworth's awards turned up a Ranger Tab that Hackworth improperly claimed since he was never a Ranger School graduate and had no orders awarding it.

Freakin' Jen's adventure with Father Justice was after your computer crash and mind-numbingly useless.
