Random Commuter Thoughts - Subtropical Update

I'm going to go ahead and O-fficially classify this as one of Dee Cee's nastier summers.

I noticed this morning that the air is starting to stink in a way that reminds me very much of the summers I spent on the Texas Gulf Coast - the excessive humidity traps all that sweat, garbage, diesel and general stink, then the heat cooks it up. Only thing missing is the smell of salt, which I almost imagined I was picking up today.

Geh, as I say.

Super Duper Sekret Message to Robbo: A quick shower would cure the smell of sweat and general stink. I'd recommend you stop "hanging out" at bus stops if you don't want to smell like diesel.

** Yes I realize this is a cheap shot, I just figured I'd take it before INDCent Bill did. **

Y'all mind standing downwind, please?

No quibbles with this post. the air is, indeed, oppressive.

Miserable indeed. We moved most of my crap into a storage pod today and I thought I'd never dry out.

Why shouldn't you smell salt? Chesapeake Bay is not more than 40 miles due east. I imagine the right wind direction and intensity could bring you a whiff of Bay air.
