MOVIE BABES TO WATCH

Today's special: Kiera Knightley. She first caught the LMC eye last night in Pirates of the Carribean and seems to be in some respects an improvement on Natalie Portman--just as good looking with more animation. She will be one to watch so long as she stays away from photo shoots in skin mags, movies on the estrogen channels, lesbian experimentation, and (Colossus, this is for you) Tom Cruise.

I would rent The Jacket, she's not adverse to "essential for the plot" nudity.

If the chick is hot, all nudity is essential for the plot. (sorry, couldn't resist.) Pirates is a good movie, recommended muchly.

Keira Knightley, like many other women, has the startling ability to look either breathtakingly beautiful or utterly plain depending on the circumstances, the lighting, and what her hair is doing at the moment.

She has kind of an odd jawline. I believe she played the double for Natalie Portman in the first of the new Star Wars movies, as the fake Queen of Naboo. They do look somewhat alike.

She was in Pirates, that girl soccer movie, and was also in the schlock-fest "Love, Actually".

Jury's out. She could go either way, career wise. Think of her as the new Rachel Weisz.
