Llama Baseball Blegging
The Missus and I are planning to take the two older Llama-ettes out to see the Nats play Toronto this coming Saturday. The Missus thinks we should drive over to the stadium, while I think we'd be better off taking the Metro.
I've never actually been to RFK before. Anybody have any useful information about which mode of transportation is preferable? Time, price, general hassle-factor? (On Metro, it would be a straight shot across town on the Orange Line for us.)

I've only ever gone to RFK on the Metro -- it's easy and cheap. Plus, when the home team wins, it's a fun ride back with your fellow fans.
Tell Vinny Castilla he better start hitting or else he's going to be riding the Sturbridge pine, as they say in my fantasy league.
I've done both. I think that driving might be better if you have the Llama-ettes with you. I will assume that you have distractions (like books or toys) in the car/van with you. This can make the drive more fun for them. The traffic situation will determine if the ride is good for you though... The Stadium is right off 395 in DC and is easy to get to. So that isn't a problem.
If the game is a night game, I've found travelling with children on the Metro is hard, there is a lot more walking. If kids are cranky that is no fun. I've also encountered a number of mean drunks after games on Metro.
If it was me by myself, I'd do Metro though.
