I spent the good part of my first year in college playing AoE and my grades were the worse for it. That's what my parents were paying through the nose for, I guess, an intranet war between ancient civilizations at $35k/year. It was 1997 and those few of us who had their own computers became the community stations and I'd have legions of people (get it?) coming in and out of my room all day long. It was a converted butler's pantry--seriously, it had a dumb waiter inside--so it was nice a cozy.

Thank God I didn't get as into Starcraft as some of my pals or else I would have really wasted my parent's money.

I might just have to buy this.

If it doesn't include heads bouncing across the floor and single-man rocket launchers (and infantile taunting over the internet), not interested. Unreal Tournament or Halo all the way...

Age of Titans is the bestest game in the Universe.

AoE the biggest time-suck? You must have it confused with a similarly-themed game:

Civilization.

Civilization 4 comes soon as well! Hurrah!

Oh, and BTW, Rise of Nations and Empire Earth are much better games than AoE. Don't know how AoE3 stacks up, though (as it hasn't come out yet!).
