Vichy Gardening
Our pal Chan, posting over at Cold Climate Gardening, has an article up about weeds she welcomes to her garden. No doubt after they die back for the winter, she'll swear she was in the Maquis.

I have the feeling that a clever historical-factoid riposte is appropriate here, but I'll be an ignoramus history-wise until George MacDonald Fraser starts a series where Flashman time-travels to the 20th Century. But I'll never look at my weed patch in the same way again! Cheers.
