Larry Tribe (the Sasquatch of Harvard Law School and unsuccessful lawyer for Al Gore in Bush v. Palm Beach County) has been busted for plagiarism. I don't say accused, I say busted.
I have a dog in this fight because the person he plagiarized---Henry J. Abraham---was my mentor in grad school. I remember Henry in his con law seminar my first year in grad school joking sardonically about this: this has been known about for years in certain academic circles. It's only come out now because Tribe jumped on a fellow colleague for plagiarism, and the speed and rapidity of the internet to get this sort of stuff out.
I only have one nettlesome quibble with the article: the author asserts at the end that Tribe is a better writer than Henry Abraham.
Hogwash!
